About Us:
At IDEA39 and The Guerrilla Politic, we create powerful marketing and campaign strategies for progressive non-profits, governmental organizations, and Democratic candidates. We work with organizations advocating for economic justice, disability rights, racial equity, and accessible services, helping them amplify their voices and drive real impact.
We’re looking for a strategic and highly organized Account Executive to manage client relationships, oversee projects, and ensure our work is delivered efficiently and effectively. If you have 3-5 years of agency experience, love working with mission-driven organizations, and can keep projects running on time while managing client expectations, we want you on our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Client & Project Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, managing expectations and ensuring deliverables meet strategic objectives.
Proactively manage timelines and deliverables, keeping internal teams accountable and ensuring work moves forward.
Lead client presentations, strategy discussions, and feedback sessions while advocating for creative excellence.
Handle clients and partners, navigating challenges with professionalism and clear communication.
Establish and enforce client deadlines.
Internal Team Coordination & Process Improvement
Work closely with writers, designers, and strategists to align creative work with client needs and business goals.
Keep our project management software updated with current deliverables, assets, asks, and deadlines.
Enforce file organization and workflow processes to ensure projects are executed efficiently.
Help track key performance metrics and ensure deliverables stay on schedule.
New Business & Growth Support
Identify opportunities for client growth
Collaborate with the leadership team to develop proposal decks, strategic plans, and marketing materials to attract new clients.
Support IDEA39 & TGP’s own marketing efforts to ensure consistent outreach and visibility in our space.
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in account management, project management, or client services within a marketing/communications agency.
Exceptional organizational skills—you know how to juggle multiple clients and projects without missing deadlines.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities, with a proven ability to manage complex client relationships.
Experience in economic development, political campaigns, or non-profits is a plus—we want someone who understands mission-driven work.
A firm but diplomatic approach to managing clients—you’re not afraid to push boundaries.
Proficiency in project management tools (Monday.com, Google Workspace, Microsoft office) and a general familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing.
